Location just next door to more activities and breath with the fresh air far from brick and noise and Borneo and the waterfall. Good service, very-very nice staff.

Facilities in need of improvements. Staff should be able to serve customer's needs and wants. Better planning of touring the resort areas and differentiate the level of services require by hotel guests and day trippers.

the chalet was air-conditioned, it had climate control, multi-channel television, and a mini bar fridge. the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the view of lake and forest was particularly good. location: the hotel was close enough to n fm airport as well as the forest at night or at day.

The resort is located in a beautiful area of rainforest adjacent to Lambir Hills National Park. The setting was lovely and the room we were given had a wonderful outlook over the rainforest. The room itself was spacious, well designed and comfortable. The staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful to the point of being almost over-attentive!
The resort mainly caters for school and business groups who come on a package deal for adventure activities or team building activities. It does not cater so well for individual travellers. If you stay at a time when there are school groups there (as we did) it is quite noisy, especially down near the water where most of the activities are held. Because they provide buffet meals for the groups you are offered the same option. The food is quite ordinary and uninteresting because it is meeting the needs of the kids. The resort is planning to offer a more "international" service in the future but at the moment it has a "Fawlty Towers" feel to it. If you stay there I would suggest going at the weekend when there are no school groups - they do somewhat spoil the ambience of the place!

Its location and value for money. Good facilities and good initiative by F&B manager to prepare our meals. Well done. Staff friendly.
The hotel is not well maintained eventhough they have continuous guests staying. Pity! It is a good value hotel and location. Can do well. Room smell of dust, like it has not been used for a long time. Have to open windows. No initiative to freashen or clean up room for check in guest. Be aware that they have very limited hotel service especially after 5pm.

The pool is a good facility for family. Resort tour is excellent, with good activities included. safety briefing prior tour
To improve on safety aspect of pool usage such as to make sure nobody is playing in front of water slides to avoid collission with people sliding down the sliders at high speed. To open restaurant/cafe for ala carte dinner/ lunch etc (important for those who do not subsribe the full boarding package)

i like the room facilities, services provided, rate given, environment and the workers who are very friendly.
i prefer if the waterpark close a bit late and open earlier especially for those who stay there so that we could arrange our time and able to follow other activities.

I stayed in the Engkabang room. It has a good view of the virgin tropical forest. I like the lobby area where you can relax and have a good view of the forest.
I didn't like the restaurant because it only serves buffet meal and no a-la carte order.

We had a great time at Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort. The design and idea for a resort in the forest is truly unique and captivating. The resort also provided a tour guide to help us explore the beautiful surroundings. The food provided was more than enough and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
